Each team handles end-to-end 12V installs, custom audio/AV projects, and full vehicle upfits. In your first 90 days, you’d focus on: 1. Operational Assessment & Quick Wins • Conduct site walkthroughs and shadow each team to identify immediate efficiency or quality improvements • Gather feedback from techs, site managers and a sample of key customers 2. Team Alignment & Development • Meet one-on-one with each technician and supervisor to understand strengths, gaps and career goals • Begin rolling out updated SOPs and hands-on training modules 3. Nodes receive an ACK immediately, so they’re not blocked by downstream processing. - Micro-batching & Backpressure: The coordinator batches incoming records (e.g. 500 updates per batch) and writes them into MLflow in parallel workers. If volumes spike, we throttle at the Kafka consumer level and autoscale the batch workers in Kubernetes to maintain throughput without overloading MLflow’s store. - Sharded Metadata Store: Behind MLflow we use a sharded PostgreSQL setup,each shard handles a subset of experiment runs. This splits write load and keeps latency under 200 ms for metadata commits. - Monitoring & Alerts: We monitor queue depths and write latencies via Prometheus/Grafana, triggering autoscale events or backpressure policies if thresholds are breached. 2. Aerospace Deals - A Colorado‐based Series A startup developing high‐efficiency ion thrusters for small satellites (pre-commercial testing phase). - A UK/France seed-stage company building modular robotics arms for on-orbit servicing and debris removal. 2. Marine Aquaculture Deals - A Pacific Northwest pre-Series A venture deploying autonomous oyster-farming boats (pilot farms live now). - A Southeast Asia startup at Seed stage focused on AI-driven feed delivery for shrimp and shellfish. - A Mediterranean pilot project automating seaweed harvest with solar-powered drones. Typical allocation per deal at these stages is in the $1,3M range. As Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer, you’ll have direct sign‐off authority to commit up to ~$1M per deal. Anything above that moves to our Investment Committee,but your recommendation is the deciding factor.
