You'll Be Responsible For:

• Leading the Computer System Validation (CSV) lifecycle activities for DCS (e.g., DeltaV, Honeywell Experion) and MES platforms (e.g., PAS-X, Syncade).
• Providing onsite QA oversight and support during IQ/OQ/PQ execution, ensuring compliance with validation protocols and procedures.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Automation teams to align validation deliverables with the Master Validation Plan (MVP).
• Conducting Data Integrity assessments in line with ALCOA+ principles and ensuring system compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Reviewing and approving system configurations, including audit trails, access controls, backup procedures, and data security measures.
• Managing QA deviations, non-conformances, and CAPA activities related to validation testing.
• Supporting regulatory inspections and internal audits as the CSV Subject Matter Expert (SME).

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Automation), Computer Science/IT, Life Sciences, or Quality Management.
• 8+ years of experience in Computer System Validation (CSV) or Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Proven experience supporting validation of DCS and MES systems within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of GAMP 5, PIC/S, and regulatory data integrity requirements (including ALCOA+ principles).
• Hands-on experience with validation lifecycle documentation, including URS, FS, DS, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, industrial networks, and PLC-based systems is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and maintaining audit readiness.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a complex manufacturing environment.

• Manage, control, supervise and optimise day-to-day operations at Ulu Pandan WRP. Ensure that the shift and operations staff operate according to SOP, maintain the liquids and biosolids treatment processes efficiently, and ensure that the plant produce a final effluent that meets the standards of outfall discharge and quality fit for NEWater production. Able to attend to emergency calls or activation back to plant after office hours for work exigencies. Some site works include:
• adjusting of flow distribution to treatment streams
• adjusting of aeration, desludging, wasting controls on site
• troubleshoot liquids and biosolids treatment processes and equipment issues
• Analyse water/biosolids quality and other plant process data. Prepare and follow up on operational shift reports, monthly plant performance reports, data analysis and presentation. Data analysis is typically performed using Qliksense and Biowin modelling. Proficiency of these or other analytical software/programs would be an advantage.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for maintenance activities, such as shutdown works and breakdown maintenance. Ensure maintenance schedule records are properly prepared and planned works are timely executed.
• Raise, validate and approve Purchase Order (PO), Work Order (WO), Goods Receipt Note (GRN) and completion certificates (CC) and manage Asset Management System (AMS) for process tank maintenance and servicing, acquiring of materials, parts, equipment, and services for operations
• Supervision of site works, and verification of works done. Check and vet service reports and supporting documents to certify payments.
• Manage and prepare relevant safety documents and ensure safety requirements and guidelines are adhered to. Manage Notice-To-Work/Permit-To-Work, identify safety trainings for staff, conduct safety inspections, prepare/review Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures documents.
• Manage WRP term contracts (supply, maintenance, operations) to ensure they are executed on time, according to specifications and within budget.
• Develop and review contract specifications/ PEP papers, call and evaluate plant tenders/quotations.

Summary:

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sourcing Specialist - Food Ingredients based in Mumbai. The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for supplier identification, procurement, and contract negotiation for food ingredients. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating supplier costs, ensuring product quality, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing the supply chain. The role will also involve sourcing new suppliers, tracking industry trends, and collaborating closely with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.

   Roles and Responsibilities:

• Initiate, develop and nurture relationships with manufacturing and trading companies in India and across the globe mainly in the Food sector including categories such as sweeteners, oils, essential oils, fats, nutraceuticals, and food additives.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand their sourcing requirements and get them the best sourcing opportunities possible, making sure that supply is never a constraint to fulfil an order
• Negotiating prices, contracts, and payment terms for spot and recurring businesses
• Put utmost importance on turnaround times to get the best possible rate quotations within the shortest possible time
• Identify potential new suppliers, explore partnership opportunities, and develop strategies to attract more suppliers to work with us
• Alignment of sourcing strategies with various stakeholders in sales, operations and finance team for execution
• Be at the top of latest industry trends and developments by keeping eyes and ears on the ground to take advantage of various opportunities
• Build a strong market intelligence database updated with the latest information from the supplier side

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in sourcing sweeteners, oils, essential oils, fats, nutraceuticals, and food additives.
• Possess strong relationships with manufacturers and traders in this industry
• Knowledge of right databases to explore and right companies to reach out to for sourcing new chemical requirements
• Ability to build a strong market intelligence for various chemicals in terms of pricing trend, geographical advantage, supply disruptions, raw material pricing etc.
