The Deck Hand will assist in the operation and maintenance of the vessel, ensuring safety and efficiency of daily operations. The Dockhand is responsible for the safe mooring of vessels and general operation of the docks, by facilitating and assisting with the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout the harbor and marina facilities, and acting as the initial liaison between customers and the marina management team.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform morning and afternoon dock checks, as well as periodic walks through docks, common areas, tenant and boaters lounge perimeters, monitoring parking lots and street side curbs for debris or safety issues.
• Safely secure boats to dock using proper dock lines and fenders.
• Assist with refueling vessels.
• Assist with securing company property.
• Assist forklift driver with launching and retrieving vessels and provide visual assistance and direction to them while moving boats to and from racks or the water.
• Move boats from the launch area to the staging dock or wet slips.
• Rinse boat hulls, flush engines, and fuel boats.
• Operates VHF radio as necessary to contact boats and coordinate dockage, with dock staff.

Job Title: Natural Gas Distribution Inspector Level 1-4

Location: Galveston, TX

Level 1 Key Responsibilities-

Perform inspections on pipelines to assess their structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.

Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices as well as knowledge of the following: PHMSA part 192 requirements, OSHA site safety, Maximo/Moblite, Locus IQ, Pragma CAD, as-built drawings, and ONE MAP.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in pipeline inspection or a related field.

Strong understanding of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes.

Level 2 Key Responsibilities-

Distribution Inspector must have experience in the field of distribution construction activities that the Company is performing, including but not limited to proficiency in the following activities and programs: Main line installation, Service line installation, Tie-ins, Service and Mainline retirements, Leak Repair, Regulator Settings, Weld Mapping.

Conduct inspections of pipelines, focusing on line extensions and rebuild services.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on line extensions and rebuild services.

Knowledge of pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair processes, particularly related to line extensions and rebuild projects.

Level 3 Key Responsibilities-

Distribution Inspector must have experience in the field of distribution construction activities that the Company is performing, including but not limited to proficiency in the following activities and programs: Main line installation, Service line installation, Tie-ins, Service and Mainline retirements, Leak Repair, Regulator Settings, Weld Mapping.

Spearhead capital rebuild and relocation projects, overseeing every aspect from planning to execution, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with industry standards.

Identify and address leaks swiftly and efficiently, minimizing environmental impact and ensuring the safety of communities.

Qualifications:

5-6 years of experience in pipeline inspection, with a focus on capital rebuilds, relocations, and leak detection.

Level 4 Key Responsibilities-

Must be able to monitor work performed by contractors hired by Company on gas pipeline and service installations, replacements, and relocations within Company’s service area. 

Work shall be performed in accordance with Company standards and 49 CFR 192

Oversee transmission projects, ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of pipelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in pipeline inspection, with a specialized focus on transmission projects.

Role Overview:

The Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator is responsible for operating and evaluating a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, including collecting data and providing feedback, and offering ride hail service to the general public.

Eligibility:

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old, possess a valid Class C driver’s license, and have at least three (3) years of experience as a Class C licensed driver to operate Class C vehicles
  
  
  

• Operate/Drive autonomous vehicles on both defined and undefined routes, including a variety of environmental conditions - driving (some manual driving but primarily monitoring the vehicle's behavior in autonomous mode) and (ii) software monitoring and logging responsibilities and providing verbal feedback/directions about the autonomous vehicles (AV) environment
• Test other aspects of our autonomous vehicles
• Complete timely and detailed ride reports for our operations and engineering teams
